Molly is sweet, small girl that weighs approximately 30 pounds. Molly and her best friend in the world, Callie, were trapped by another local rescue and brought to us for help. From the way that they act, it is clear that they have had very little socialization prior to their coming to live with us. Callie has since found her forever home and is thriving in a stable, happy, calm home environment. We have continued working with Molly, and she is now able to walk on a leash quite comfortably and accept pets from the staff. She is able to be touched and handled; she freezes on contact.

Molly needs a family or individual that will devote significant time to her and show her that the world is nothing to fear. She needs someone to teach her that life is a happy place, where there is love and nothing to be afraid of. Molly socializes well with other dogs and is all about playing with them and romping in the yards on a regular basis. She enjoys rough housing with multiple large canine friends and appreciates hanging out with our other resident small dogs. While she has not met a cat at the time of this writing, based on her temperament and reaction to small dogs, we don’t think cats would be an issue, although we would of course test prior to any placement with them. She is sweet, good-natured, and happy, just unsure of what is acceptable and what is not, so her ideal home would be willing to show her all of that.

Because of Molly’s current fears, she will require multiple meet and greets to ensure both she and her potential adopters are comfortable with each other.

Peach County Animal Rescue is a rescue located in Fort Valley, GA. Our adoption fees range from $175-350+. On average, our fees are $250. Although our rescue dogs share a common bond with one another, no rescue story is the same (even when similar). Vetting costs vary depending on their health conditions. For us, it is never about the money. We are a non-profit. Thank you for your love and support! All of our dogs are fully vetted: up-to-date on annual shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped with a lifetime registration. We look forward to hearing from you!
