Lilly and what we presume to be her sibling Mack, came to reside with us after they were dumped at a local elderly couple’s home. Lilly manifests her anxiety at the stress of having to fend for herself for an undetermined period of time prior to coming to us by not wanting to deal with other dogs at the present time. She would prefer to be an only girl in the center of her adopter’s universe! Lilly is a sweetheart that likes treats and bum scratchies. She excels at the sad hippo expression that melts you into a puddle of goo. She is a velvet hippo that is wonderful and amenable to being hugged, kissed on, and dressed up. She would make a wonderful best friend to a single person or a great family dog with no other pets.

Lilly is approximately 60 pounds and walks fairly well on a leash. She is crate trained and house trained.

Peach County Animal Rescue is a rescue located in Fort Valley, GA. Our adoption fees range from $175-350+. On average, our fees are $250. Although our rescue dogs share a common bond with one another, no rescue story is the same (even when similar). Vetting costs vary depending on their health conditions. For us, it is never about the money. We are a non-profit. Thank you for your love and support! All of our dogs are fully vetted: up-to-date on annual shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped with a lifetime registration. We look forward to hearing from you!
