Tigger takes after the puddy-cat he is named for. He is a chunk of love – he’s exuberant, energetic, a complete goober. He isn’t exactly a Mensa candidate, but what he lacks in the cerebral department, he makes up for in loving happiness. Tigger loves people, and he LOVES more than anything else playing – with people or dogs, it doesn’t matter. He is so excited about life, it’s impossible to be around him and not walk away with a smile! Tigger would make an excellent best friend to a family of any size. Tigger is a big boy at about 65 pounds, and he likes to think he’s the dog in charge, but in all reality, he’s not as macho as he thinks he is. He has many friends here at the rescue. He very much enjoys playing tennis ball and fetch. Tigger is a sloppy, excited boy that walks great on a leash, and handles being in a crate very well. That big droopy tongue is a sight to behold.

Tigger came to us after his former owners abandoned him on a rental property, tied to a rusted out car. Thankfully a Good Samaritan neighborhood found out about his plight and alerted county authorities. You would never know what he’s been through! Tigger has a lot of love to give and wouldn’t know how to hold a grudge if it was sitting in front of him. He likes to play with his tennis balls and chase a thrown toy with gusto. He is a big lug, and he’s ready for his loving family to find him and smooch that big, flat head!
